Our verdict
Where it wins
- Combines sunrise simulation, white noise, and a Bluetooth speaker at a budget price
- Sunrise ramp time is adjustable (10 to 60 minutes) rather than fixed
- 17 nightlight/mood light modes plus 25 sound options
- Ranked as Amazon's best-selling sunrise alarm clock by retailer sales rank
Where it loses
- Screen brightness can't always be dimmed enough for some users, even on the lowest setting
- No battery backup, needs to stay plugged in
- Build quality and materials reflect the budget price point compared to premium light-only clocks
The JALL sunrise alarm clock packs sunrise simulation, a sound machine, and a Bluetooth speaker into a budget-priced device, more features per dollar than any other clock in this roundup. It's a reasonable way to try the sunrise-alarm concept before spending on a premium model, though the plastic build and a display some find too bright mark it as an entry-level pick rather than a lasting one.
